How the Process Works

Getting your old media converted to digital is easier than most people think.
We’ve designed a simple, step-by-step process so you always know what to expect.

1. Gather Your Items

Start by collecting the media you want to convert.

This can include:

• VHS tapes and camcorder tapes
• Film reels (8mm, Super 8, 16mm)
• Photos, slides, and negatives
• Audio tapes or records

Most people have these stored in boxes, closets, or basements. Just gather everything in one place and there is no need to sort or organize it perfectly.

2. Drop Off or Send Your Order

You have two easy options:

Local Drop-Off
Bring your items directly to our West Chester location.  We are open Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm.  Appointments are helpful but not necessary.

Mail-In Service
Ship your media to us from anywhere in the country.

Once we receive your order, we log everything in so it’s tracked and handled carefully from start to finish.

3. We Digitize Your Media

This is where the work happens.  We perform all of our digitizing work right here in our store!

Each item is played back using professional equipment and converted into a digital format.
For video and audio, the content is captured in real time and saved as a digital file.

For photos and film, each image is scanned or transferred frame-by-frame to preserve as much detail as possible.

If needed, we make basic adjustments like:

• Color correction
• Brightness and contrast improvements
• Stabilization (for certain formats)

Professional services like ours are designed to handle aging or delicate media and produce reliable, consistent results.

4. Your Files Are Organized

Once everything is converted, your digital files are:

• Clearly labeled
• Organized in folders
• Ready to view, share, and back up

We keep things simple so you don’t need any technical experience to use your files.

5. Choose Your Delivery Format

You’ll receive your memories in a modern, easy-to-use format:

• Digital download – default method
• USB flash drive
• External hard drive
• DVD discs

These formats make it easy to:

• Watch on your computer or TV
• Share with family
• Back up for safekeeping

6. Originals Returned Safely

We can return all of your original items along with your new digital copies.  You also have the option to have us recycle your original tapes, discs, slides, etc.

7. Enjoy & Share

Once your files are delivered, your memories are ready to use right away.

You can:

• Relive old moments
• Share with family and friends
• Store them safely for the future
